EduFirst Learning Centre (Hougang Ave 1)

Families around Hougang Ave 1 can find EduFirst Learning Centre in the neighbourhood, with small classes for preschool, primary and secondary students.

EduFirst is a tuition and student care group with outlets across Singapore. Many children are afraid to raise their hand in a big school class, so EduFirst keeps its groups small, usually 4 to 8 students, so questions come easily and teachers get to know each child.

How the centre teaches

Tutors are chosen through a selection process, and a team of curriculum specialists keeps the materials aligned with the school syllabus. Lessons start by finding each child's strengths and weak spots, then work on them. During their tuition slot, students can also get help with school homework at no extra cost, in what the centre calls its free homework clinic.
