About BriliBrain Edu Chinese Tuition Centre (给力华文) (Novena)
Children who hear little Mandarin at home often find Chinese lessons hard to follow, and quietly lose interest.
BriliBrain Edu (给力华文) is a Chinese tuition centre at VIIO@Balestier, teaching pre-school, primary and secondary students. Its approach centres on what it calls empowerment through learning: helping children build good study habits, so that results and confidence follow.
How the centre teaches
Lessons use varied, interactive activities and stress applying the language, not only memorising it. Alongside vocabulary and answering technique, teachers work on logical thinking, creativity and exam confidence. Parents' reviews mention patient, encouraging teachers, including for children from homes where little Chinese is spoken.
