Axcell Tuition Centre (Queenstown)

Axcell Tuition Centre's Queenstown branch teaches small groups, so a tutor can see which topics a child has really grasped.

Axcell teaches primary and secondary students English, Math, Science and Chinese, following the MOE syllabus. Its tutors are MOE-registered and have more than five years of teaching experience.

How the centre teaches

Classes take up to 6 children. Tutors start by working out each student's strengths and weaknesses, then teach to that child's pace. The centre keeps a profile for every student, with the results of both class quizzes and larger tests, so progress can be traced over time.

For primary pupils, each subject has a clear focus: grammar, vocabulary, oral, comprehension and composition in English; topical concepts, model drawing and heuristic questions in Math; mind-mapping, answering techniques and experiments in Science; and vocabulary, sentence building, composition and oral in Chinese.

Programmes

Primary 1 to 6 English, Math, Science and Chinese
Secondary English, Math (E-Math and A-Math), Science and Chinese
Year-end bridging programmes and holiday camps, including art
